Niki Block is a Red Seal Horticulturist and a lifelong storyteller who has been writing since she was ten years old. Her work spans multiple genres and styles, shaped by a love of action thrillers and a curiosity about the darker depths of human nature. She is also driven to share stories about mental health, addiction, and grief after experiencing them for herself. Her debut novel, Polaris, blends science fiction, dystopia, and thriller into a fast-paced and thought-provoking story.
Outside of writing, Niki enjoys sketching, kayaking, gardening, and boxing. She lives in rural Manitoba with her husband, daughter, and a relentless swarm of mosquitoes.
